Every pin and line you can see on the codriver.io map, what it means, and how long it sticks around before decaying. Drivers can confirm (▲ Still here) or dispute (▼ Gone) a pin as they drive by — confirm refreshes the lifetime; dispute halves what's left.

Traffic flow
Coloured lines along the road itself, not pins. Mapbox measures these from anonymised GPS traces of phones running Mapbox-powered apps — no roadside sensors — and refreshes them every few minutes, so a line runs 5 to 15 minutes behind the road. Lines show measured flow; the jam pins above show what drivers reported, and those arrive faster.
An uncoloured road means one of two things: traffic is flowing freely, or Mapbox has no probe data for that segment. There is no way to tell them apart. Coverage thins out on rural roads, on quiet arterials, and at night — so the absence of a line is not a promise of a clear road.

Construction zones live for ~7 days; road closures for hours.
Speed cameras
Permanent infrastructure pins sourced from OpenStreetMap. Lifetime is effectively unlimited as long as the camera stays mapped upstream.
Charging networks
One unified charger layer from OpenChargeMap (with OpenStreetMap fallback). Each network has its own plate color; the bolt count on a pin is the station’s power tier — ⚡ standard (<50 kW), ⚡⚡ fast (50–149 kW), ⚡⚡⚡ ultra (≥150 kW).
